Luxury bridal stationers Amarie believe the tone for your wedding day is set as soon as the invitations drop through the letterboxes of your nearest and dearest. Wanting their brand to likewise set the tone for the bespoke products and personal service they offer, Amarie approached Friends to create a new brand that showed them off as the crème de la crème of bridal stationers.

Throughout the design process Friends paid special attention to the bespoke services offered by Amarie. Creating wedding stationery with luxury stock and materials, and hand pressing on a vintage letterpress, Amarie couldn’t just look like any other stationer. The resulting initial routes created by Friends reflected this process, each being carefully crafted and completely unique, yet tied together in each communicating the luxury, bespoke products handcrafted by Amarie. 

After pouring through the design options presented by Friends, Amarie decided on a route that not only showcases these skills and values, but sets them apart as different from the rest of the crowd. Amarie were drawn to the bespoke wordmark Friends created for them, drawing inspiration from fashion brands, as it positions them in the high-end luxury area of the industry that their product fits in to, as well as setting them apart with a unique look very different from others in the industry.

Supporting fonts that reflect both the elegance of Amarie and the craftsmanship of their products were chosen to sit alongside the bespoke wordmark. The overall feel is elegant, classic and luxurious, beautifully complimenting the products created by Amarie and their heartfelt desire to ensure that the first impression of their couples’ big days is a lasting one.
